This year's Vagabond Cirque is in honor of Caitlyn Bibeau and will benefit Texas Children's Hospital.
Caitlyn developed a sacrococcygeal teratoma in her fourth month of development. Her parents, Bonnie and Brian Bibeau, were given the option to terminate Bonnie's pregnancy, as the possibility of Caitlyn's survival was somewhat slim.
But Bonnie and Brian are fighters, and chose to take the chance that Caitlyn might survive. At 37 weeks, the tumor had grown to almost twelve inches and Bonnie was forced to deliver via C-section on March 20, 2009. Caitlyn lived for eleven hours before her little body gave out.
Bonnie and Brian have slowly begun their recovery, supported by many friends and family members.
Bonnie and Brian are honored to have this event held in memeory of their beloved Caitlyn, and have chosen Texas Children's Hospital as the beneficiary.
If you would like to read about Caitlyn's journey through the eyes of her mother and see some pictures of the newborn Caitlyn, please visit www.caringbridge.org/visit/caitlynbibeau

Mon, August 24, 2009 - 10:09 AMLess than a month away! Please buy your ticket soon!
This benefit is in honor of Caitlyn Bibeau, daughter of Bonnie and Brian Bibeau. Caitlyn passed away only eleven hours after her birth, succumbing to a large tumor. Proceeds will go to Texas Children's Hospital, where Caitlyn was cared for during her short life.
Please support this event so more research can be conducted to prevent neonatal issues such as these.
Please look for our short public service announcement promoting this event on KHOU Great Day Houston between September 10th and September 19th.
Even if you cannot attend, please feel free to purchase a ticket, as money will still go to Texas Children's.
A special performance in honor of Caitlyn and her parents will be featured at this event.
Thank you for your support.

Wed, September 30, 2009 - 4:30 AMSTOP! STOP! STOP!!!!!!!
This web site gave my computer SIX viruses! I am still trying clean this mess up.
BE VERY CAREFUL if you decide to go to this site! -
-
Re: Almost Time!
Fri, October 2, 2009 - 12:32 PMThe photographer is working with the hosting provider to clear up the issue.
The server owned by the hosting provider is where the problem lies, not with the photographer or her photos themselves. She is working to resolve the issue, and has pulled the photos down until she is certain that it is safe.
