I'm stompin in and heading MC duties, I made some special pre-show/intermission toonage.........I'm bringin the THUNDAH and the LIGHTENIN!!!!!!!!
So the oldie but goodie goes "Ain't No Stoppin Us Now"...yeah, you know you're singing that song now....
MUHAHAHAHA...My work here is done...for now...
I'm ready to infiltrate H-town!!!!!

I'm super excited to share the stage with lovely Houstonian dancers!!!! I can't wait to see faces I know and meet one ones (people that is..not just faces cause that would be REALLY creepy)....

You all are the reason the Vagabond Hafla was created. We had a wonderfully stupendous evening with all of you.
We were blessed to have wonderfully diverse performances AND to show off our latest creative endeavor!
Oh, and several people asked about our music, so here's the tracks...
Obi's solo: "Thou Art Hypnotized" and "St James" by the Yard Dogs Road Show and "Toxic" by Mark Ronson
Nari's solo: the two beginning snipets were Blind Divine (I can't find my track listing for that CD) and the Yard Dogs Road Show "Red Light"
Our duet: the French song I can't give a title/artist since I just found it randomly and the second song was the Toids "Chocek" -

Wed, May 21, 2008 - 1:29 PMLast night's show can only be described as electric. The show buzzed with a happy energy from start to finish. It was just packed full of zaghareeting, hissing, yipping audience members who new how to have a good time! All the dancers were so beautiful and cheeky and fun!
And Zahirah is our new hero! I mean, who knew she could giddy up like that AND that she was packing a toy gun? There were definite shenanigans throughout the show- and Obi and I loved every minute of it!
And I have to give props to Anaid, who drove straight in from San Antonio and performed. Come check her out again at the July 15th show!
Obsidia and I were so grateful to share the stage with you and we are overwhelmed by the awesomeness of the Texas bellydance community. It is so incredible that we can all get together and dance, regardless of style or level.
Obi and I got so many compliments from audience members about the flow and diversity of the show, and we are so happy to provide a venue where that can happen on a monthly basis.
We hope you liked what we performed for you last evening and that we can continue to make you laugh, giggle, and clap your hands like you did last night. Thank you, Texas bellydance community! We love ya!
P.S.- Thanks for letting me flirt with you, Miss Z! That's whatcha get for sittin' on the front row! ; )
