Sirrom's latest Artist-in-Residence series features Victoria Astley teaching Turkish Romany belly dancing, Saturdays, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. 10/24 through 12/5.

Are you seeking to spice up your dancing and add a new flair: Victoria is offering an introduction to the exuberant and beautiful Turkish Romany style of belly dance, distinguished by its lively hopping footwork and loose, passionate hip work. The 6-week specialty course will include an overview of the dance, its history and music (including the Karshlama rhythm), and a series of techniques and combinations showcasing the distinctive Turkish style and movements.

Special Introduction Price: $80 for six weeks.

Class will not meet on Saturday, Nov. 28.
